Look..see..feel..

You know how when we hear birds singing, its zikr. When the wind blows, its zikr. When the trees sway, its zikr. When flies buzz, its zikr. All around us, every day, the world and its creatures zikr.

But there is one type of creature that tends to distance themselves. They feel like there are other important things to do than zikr. To them, whosoever zikr, is weird, is out casted, is the minority.

But what this group fails to see is that THEY are the MINORITY. We live on Earth, where every creature as small as an ant to as big as the blue whale, are always in zikr. They fail to see that they are WEIRD. When the whole world is in zikr, they aren’t. Instead they do other worldly things that are of less importance.

“There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you…. (6:38)

Ibn Kathir said, ‘communities’ means ‘ummah’. So when in an Ummah, every Muslim must take their part..and the easiest way is zikrillah.

Shouldn’t we be ashamed?? To live among many ummahs that are always in a state of zikr…
