AIM HIGH

Bismillah...

One day Ahmad was walking around a city. He stopped at a construction site. He saw 3 men, working. He went up to the first man and ask, What are you doing??

The man said, I'm putting bricks on cement, don't you see that? So Ahmad went to the second and asked the same question...the second man said...

I'm finding money for my family. Then he went to the last man and he asked. What are you doing? The man replied, I'm building a civilization...Ahmad was confused..

The man continued, You see I'm building a masjid, I hope this masjid will be used to its fullest just like the time of the Prophet. And from there Islam's civilization will be brought up.

Masha-Allah, all 3 men were doing the same exact work, but how they see what they do is so different from each other. The third man AIMED HIGH..even though all he did was put bricks on cement...

So with everything we do in life, we have to have an objective. So I wonder...with everyday that I go to class, every word I read from the text book, every word I write...what's my objective??

It's not enough just to say that I take medicine just to be a doctor...but it has to be in helping Islam, so that with every step I take to class, in every word I read..its all for Islam.

Of course its easier said than done, but Muslims never give up, to a Muslim, nothing is impossible..so AIM HIGH..the road is harsh...but what awaits at the end makes all the hardships seem little...
